My cousin and family in the news

I’m so excited, just read a really cool article about my cousin and her husband, Jennifer and Clifton Green, along with their two children. The article is about their adopted child from Africa and the length Clifton will go to keep his daughter’s hair looking good. A well written and wonderfully sweet article, check it out when you get time. It brings up some great conversation about international adoption and what issues parents should consider. I’m really proud of my cousin and her husband.  :)

  1. oh my gosh, what a sweet article!!!! I love it! I moved in with my single father when I was 9 years old, and I loved it when he braided my hair, which he learned to do from making wreaths out of rope in high school! Haha… although I am white and have very fine straight hair… so definitely not as challenging and time consuming as Miriam’s! He still could only braid it though, when my hair was wet! Thanks for sharing! Hope you guys are doing well! Haven’t heard from you or seen any blogs lately! Many Blessings!

  3. Hi, Daniel! I’ve been “away” for awhile, and then I see this when I come back! You’re very sweet to mention it. The article has been a really special thing for our family, especially for Miriam who now checks the newspaper from time to time to see if her picture is there! Now I get to tell her she’s on a blog too!
